My father joined the UN's delegation from Iran many years ag0, the very first team. Thus, I was born in NYC. He went on to become an ambassador in various countries globally. Again, pure chance gave me an introduction to the lives of women, and men, in every corner of our planet. My univeristy studies included history, language, and linguistics. After forty plus years of teaching university student EFL, I am now embarking on my second career-that of helping women and children with illiteracy.
