	U.N. WOMEN'S CIRCLES CONNECTING

Hi! I'm Susan Lyons and I'm so excited to be part of this amazing group of women! I am a member of the Turtle Island Council of Grandmothers, made up of Mohawk, Algonquin, Apache, Cree, and other Tribal Women. We are the core Council for Grandmothers Circle the Earth Foundation, and we travel to different parts of the world organizing Circles of women who then form their own core Councils. From this we begin the process of weaving the blanket of shared teachings, solutions, ceremonies, and community building that have been foretold in the Prophecies of many Nations. We work also with the Council of 28 Grandfathers from Greenland, Denmark, Turtle Island, New Zealand and more. I am the Founder and CEO of the Foundation, and accompanied by our Attorney Tiffany Stephens I am thrilled to be here and to support the Violence Against Women Act!
