Thank you Sue. I am filled with grief over what is happening in Gaza. Here is a message from a Swedish medical doctor and petition we can sign from Avaaz. I have also put this on our Blog. Namaste!!! Ann

Dear English speaking friends all over the globe, A few hours ago I received a text in Norwegian on my cell phone which I feel deeply moved to translate and pass on: “This strong call comes from Mads Gilbert, the Norwegian doctor who is at work in a hospital in Gaza: They bombed the central vegetable market in Gaza village two hours ago. 80 injured, 20 dead, all came here to Shifa. Hades! We’re wading in death, blood and amputations. A lot of children. Pregnant women. I have never experienced anything as horrendous. Now we hear tanks. Tell people, pass it on, shout it out. Alt. DO SOMETHING! DO MORE! We are living history now, all of us! Mads” I pray that this message goes forth in such a multitude that we the people of this world can stop this terrible war now. God bless! Kajsa Sweden

Today, we're launching an emergency campaign which will be delivered to the UN Security Council and key world powers, urging them to act to ensure an immediate ceasefire, address the growing humanitarian crisis, and take steps to build real and lasting peace.1 Follow this link now to sign the emergency petition and send it to everyone you know: http://www.avaaz.org/en/gaza_time_for_peace/98.php?CLICK_TF_TRACK

I would like to ad to that and paraphrase Jan Phillips who said "don't ask how you can be the best IN the world, but how you can be the best FOR the world.”

I have been feeling that this is the year I need to be more verbal with my spiritual journey because faith without action is nothing, so I am going public with my support to all women working toward world peace. I feel this is the time to let go of all finished and old business . A time to prepare for a new year that is full of hope, commitment and certainty that we can and do make a difference in the world. I propose we all think of the bigger picture this next year: instead of thinking how to heal my ailment, think how can this ailment be healed in all people in the world. Instead of thinking I want a new job, pray for guidance for all people needing a new job. Instead of praying for answers to my problems, needs and desires pray that all people of the world find Divine guidance in solving their personal problems. Everyday praying for all people to receive what we each need and ask for. The bigger picture is seeing all personal problems as global and praying for everyone instead of just for ourselves. This way we are all praying for each other, for world solutions and world peace everyday, while receiving what we pray for because what we pray for others is what we receive. I feel this is the year we raise the world consciousness by raising our own consciousness, by thinking of the world as our own personal commitment to healing and balance. This next year we move from thinking about "me" to "we the people". Its a mind set we can do together and together we will make new changes in the consciousness of the world. We may be closer then we think to ending world suffering, so lets keep the faith, the momentum of support and the compassion circling. Lets win the war.

blessings and Light Sue Rooney
