I have lived in New Mexico, on land that lies between the Rio Grande River and the Sangre de Cristos Mts., since 1969. Being here, under a huge sky has given me many opportunities: to be in an dream group that has lasted for 18 yrs! to work in the arenas of death and dying and restorative justice and to learn from both the land and the people who inhabit it. I facilitate retreats and trainings in Compassionate Presence, Death and Dying, Being with Dreams and Drinking from the Well that Sustains Us (a retreat aimed at stress reduction) This is a very special time of working hard, exploring possibilities and loving the journey...

My Dream
to publish my book, the Gatekeeper...and create a "Gatekeeper" series, focusing on the lives of people I know in India, Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere, who have stayed true to a dream and seen it come to fruition.

Interests
Mustang to Menri, is available on DVD. Filmed in Northern India, at Menri Monastery and in Mustang Nepal, its a beautiful introduction to Bon, the indigenous religion of Tibet, to the ways that monks can serve the people beyond the monastery walls and to the hopes of the Mustang Culture and Education Center. I thrive in cross-cultural interactions, dream "work" and walking on the mesas and mountains. I practice Zen meditation, travel, enjoy gardening, writing and designing clothes. I work as Spiritual Care Person for a local hospice and train and manage hospice volunteers.

ON GATHER THE WOMEN GLOBAL MATRIX
I have lived in New Mexico since 1969, learning more than i can say from the spaciousness of this place and its people. I am committed to Circle process, to watering the seeds of resiliency, hope and compassion in myself and others, to being well used and to giving back the people, places and land that has nurtured me. While not averting my face from the suffering humanity endures, I love being reminded of the wonder and courage of people, throughout time and place...and want to live with the courage, dedication and generosity of spirit that I have seen in others.

WHO I AM
What are my lifetime skills and experiences?
I am a seeker, curious and delighted by the web of life. I have developed a rather unique but inter-connected set of life skills and experiences as I've engaged with the challenges and opportunities that life presents.
I've have worked on non-profit boards, taught meditation to women in jail and drug rehab and continue to facilitate Restorative Justice for youth offenders. I am a Council Facilitator, teach Contemplative and Compassionate care of the dying to volunteers and health care professionals, and am in awe of our human resiliency. I have worked with the Office of the Medical Investigator as a Field Investigator, so I've witnessed and been engaged with traumatic events.
I have studied with Cree, Navajo, Huichol and Mayan healers and community leaders and am grateful for all they taught me, which has served me well during life and death situations.
I have been in a Circle of Dreamers, sharing dreams, for over 20 years and that has been a beautiful piece of my life...contributing to my love of story and film.
I live in Northern New Mexico and consider myself very fortunate to be here.
What is the call in my heart?
To remain in authentic, simple, grateful relationship to the land i live on, the people I engage with and the projects/visions that emerge in my heart. To give to life what I have to give...all of it...and to allow life to change, mold and move me - and to broaden my circle of friends; people who share enthusiasm, integrity and delight in life's unfolding, even as they feel the sorrow of the suffering around them.
